Held Form

Held Form is created and photographed around Adolf Maldonado’s ARTHROPODA AW26 couture collection. The collection’s sculptural pieces become the starting point for a study of body, structure and restraint. The garments are not treated as separate looks. They change how the body stands, moves and is seen in the frame. Volume, surface and silhouette become ways of holding the figure, sometimes absorbing it, sometimes sharpening it, and sometimes reducing movement into something quieter and more controlled. The work moves between weight and release, but nothing fully opens. Strength stays internal, shaped through the garment, posture and the space around the body.
